I'm on my second generation of cats who are growing up using CET Chews. Have you ever tried to brush your cats teeth? If not, trust me, it's not much fun for you or the cat. Still, you've got to do something to help their teeth and gums stay in good shape. That's where the "Chews" come in. My cats think they're getting a treat and mob me when I go for the bag. It took them a couple of tries to figure out the pieces were supposed to be chewed up and eaten, but I simply crumbled up a "chew" and they quickly caught on.
Do they work? Perhaps not as well as brushing, but I can tell you that it cut down on the number of times that my cats needed dental help. Before I started using them I had one cat lose a tooth to decay who got yearly tooth cleaning. After I started the cats on the CET Chews NONE lost any teeth and rarely did they need special cleaning at the vet. They seem to work, and my cats think they're getting a treat instead of a treatment. We give them one "chew" once or twice a week. That seems to be often enough. This product is a winner!

CET Chews for Cats (poultry flavor)is an outstanding treat among our cats who now let us know when it is time for their dental treat. If we run out before the new shipment we get sad eyed looks, loud cries, and all the while following us around the house. Also far less plaque buildup - even on our Tonkinese and Abysinians - means fewer trips to the vet.

I love this product. I've been giving them to my cat since she was 2 months old. She's now 3 years old. Snaggs (my cat) goes crazy for them! Not only are they great for keeping their breath and teeth clean, but if your cat is still active and loves to play with cat toys, they'll bounce them around the floor and chase them like prey. They are shaped like a tiny tube and have a funny texture which is supposed to be good for their teeth. When my cat hears me tear into the bag she comes running. I usually toss it to her and she pats it around like a ball. Once she feels she's had her fun, she then sinks her teeth into it and enjoys. If your cat isn't as playful and or is older and less curious, they will still get a great benefit from this product for their teeth. I totally recommend this product. My cat's breath has yet to reek!

I adopted an ancient cat a couple of years ago and he's been a great companion. He LOVES Cat Chews and two times a day (or maybe three!) all I have to say is "Want a treat, Bugsy?" and he heads for the drawer in the kitchen where they're kept. He cleans every single crumb from the floor, then meows for more!

I love this product, but more importantly my two cats love it. It's almost disturbing to see how eager they are to eat the chews.
Do not unwrap it or break it into pieces, that would defeat the purpose. Some cats might take a while to figure out what to do with the treat, but they eventually figure it out.
And at this price (compared to some vets office)you can't go wrong. And the delivery was very fast.
